HELP!!!!!! cdrom problems with winxp

i am sure that this has been asked before,
but how do you get winxp to refresh the file list when you change cd discs. my system will not refresh at all. i have tried using f5, and restarting with no luck.

i have read about a fix or tweak for this but i cannot seem to find it.

please help me !!!

Are you using a CD-ROM, or a burner? If the latter, check your software for patches - I had a shutdown problem with Easy CD Creator and XP...

try using tweakui...it gives you many hidden options in windows. dload it from microsft's website
