Lately my cat has started humping stuff like my socks, his bed, shoes, etc. Tonight I find him humping his bed and draging it around the house. He's about 4 yrs old and is fixed. So far the spray bottle method has worked but i fear he will become immune and ignore it. Any suggestions or should I just let him do his thing?

Sometimes cats do this. We had a male and he had this favorite little stuffed dog, he would pick it up with his mouth and carry it around the house, then put it down and hump it. He liked people watching to, he'd wait for us to have company over (friends, family, our pastor) and would bring the dog out so people would go "awww that's cute" then start humping.

I don't think there's anything you can do. My kitty constantly humps his sister. He'll meow for her, she shows up and he's all - SUP bitch, hump!? And goes to town.
