I'm a fit, stronger guy, but want to be able to whoop some arse on the street better. My cardio is not the best. What is the best way to improve it? Wind sprints? Let's say the average street fight is like 20 seconds. Does this mean I should do like 20 to 30 second wind sprints? Or should I do longer because these can't really improve your cardio?

Thanks!

Are you black? If you are, you could try looking at cops the wrong way and then running for your life (literally).

For this exercise you'll need a 2x4, about four feet long. Try to find an older board that is well dried. Now find a concrete wall at least twelve feet high, maybe a bridge pillar. Stand facing the wall with about eight inches between you and the wall. Raise the board above your head, holding it vertically by one end, using both hands to grip the board tightly. Now just as fast and hard as you can, bring the board down and forward to smack the wall with every thing you've got. Repeat to exhaustion.
