I have a retail P3 700E FCPGA w/ a Iwill SocketII card. I cant get it to 133mhz bus. With a slot1 cpu i can get a P3 650E at 133mhz bus w/ pc100 ram. When i change the setting in the bios and press save and exit it shuts down and wount booth back up. Im using the Asus P3V4X. I also have an alpha fan on it so i dont think it would be the heat. What should I do ??

BTW its has cB0 stepping

yea i did...i set the voltage to 1.65(its says 1.65 on the P3 box) i set the fsb to auto. i set the cpu type to fcpga and i set the select cpu to intel.

Ah, this sucks..

Thats the processor I sent you - I told you it wouldn't go over 868mhz at 1.8v.

You may have better luck with a socket370 board (weren't you upgrading to one??).

Please don't forget to send out my 650e..

Yeah, try upping the voltage. 1.65 may not be enough @933. Also, maybe try forcing the 133 FSB with the jumpers on the IWill. From what I've read, there are some quality control issues with the IWill Slocket II's. Some people have had success just by trying another one. And I have found that the Slocket II version 1.2 to be the best. If you have an earlier model that could cause you some trouble. I belive that only version 1.2 (or perhaps later if there is a new version) passed Intel's testing. Just some thoughts...
