I just bought this new sets of PC :

Processor : Intel Core i3 550 3.2Ghz Box
Motherboard : MSI H55M-E33
Memory : Team Elite Dual Kit 2*1 GB TED32048M1333HC9DC (I assume PC11000) Timing : 9-9-9-24
VGA : GeForce GTS450 1GB
Harddisk : Hitachi SATA 1TB
Maxtor IDE 160GB (this one is old stuff)

Got the mainboard revision 1.3, BIOS ver 1.9

The Main problem here is when i tried installing windows, I kept being told by setup that a random file is somewhat corrupted and sometimes end up with BSOD like BAD_POOL_HEADER or ERROR_IN_NONPAGED_AREA. Sometimes it don't. Anybody knows what happen here ? What should I to make it install windows?

FYI : I'm installing windows using a IDE DVD-ROM. The same Windows CD and DVD-ROM I tested on my older PC and it is working

NB : Actually this don't happen just with XP, Also with Vista and Windows 7, So I ended up with a piece of electronic junk

Test with different memory if you can, or one stick at a time. Otherwise make sure your memory and cpu voltages are set correctly.

Update : memtest done, all test pass with either stick or both in dual or single channel. Still can't install windows afterwards. Damn.

Succeed installing windows on a single stick on DIMM1 only setting 2T, but still not stable. a bit BSOD and the most important thing, it kept calling a compressed file corrupt, but the corrupt portion don't always the same part. Strange. I can't install any program on it so decided to do it all over again
