Help, can't get AGP card in

I've got a Radeon, and I can't get it in the slot. The problem is the space between the little plastic fin on the bottom and end of the card and the pins isn't big enough. Is this yellow fin important? What do I do?

Try bending it into place as you insert it. I've had the same prob before, but I've only had cards with metal

Bending what into place? The fin? That sounds a little dangerous, it might break off...or is it's only function to keep the card in place?

Well if it did break it wouldn't be the end of the world, as long as it fits snug in the slot and can be screwed in up top it should be held in just fine. Just be careful when you do it, and you shouldn't have to bend it very far, only a cvnt hair
