I just got a P133 lappy off AT. There are some problems with the keyboard, as well as the touchpad. Some of the keys on the keyboard do not work, and the touchpad hardly ever works. THe laptop is a Digitek. The number on the bottom of it is 175 N9602. The main thing that i am looking for is a new keyboard and touchpad for it. THe numbers on the keyboard are 750 US 960C and KB750A96C01753. I looked up those numbers, but still find nothing

The interesting thing about it is that the CD Drive and HD are both made by Toshiba. Would that mean that the Keyboard is made by toshiba also?

one other question........Is there a way to load Win95 onto a laptop computer that has an EXTERNAL CD DRIVE? I tried by using the Win98 boot disk, but it couldnt find the drive. ANy ideas?

Regarding the keyboard and touchpad, probably all that you can do is find another laptop just like it and swap the parts. I don't think you will find a lot of replacement parts readily available for such an old computer.

Toshiba makes drives for almost every laptop computer. I've never seen a Toshiba keyboard, the chances of them having also made your keyboard are pretty close to zero. Or maybe even less than zero.

How is your external CD drive connected? I'm guessing either parallel port or PCMCIA, in either case you will need to find DOS drivers for particular model drive and connection method that you have. Then you will have to figure out how to install the drivers on a boot disk, it's typically not hard but if you don't know about config.sys and autoexec.bat it will possibly be very difficult for you to figure out.

Good luck!
