After getting an SSD.
I Combined my old hdd C and D into one drive, so I had to convert it to dynamic.
No I cant get it back to basic, Tried many other softwares getting the same result!
I really need to convert it to Basic to install Windows 10.
without formatting it.
Not possible with windows as MS wants you to move away from basic disks.
The odd third party software might do it, but there are no assurances (ie: backup first).
Though the fastest way is to delete the drive and reset it to allow windows to create a new basic disk. This is assuming that the installer you have for windows 10 wants to go from a formated disk, some versions of windows would only install to a "raw" disk (no partitions at all).
Personally, I think you had best just back up and delete the partition as all other ways will cost money, time and still might not work.
