As long as it is unopened, and is pretty much in the condition you got it then yes, you can usually find a way to return it. i watched someone return 2 video games to BB that weren't from there, with no reciept and got store credit. just depends on who you talk to in CS. not that i condone the previous action, just sayin is all.

<< JeffCutter and badluck,

you can go and fvck yourselves......... this guy already apologized for posting in the wrong forum in his first line in this thread.

To think about it, BB is very closely related to hot deals, so I wont think of it as off topic after all

Whoa, chill out. Not to be a complete jerk, but pre-apologizing for doing something against forum rules doesnt justify the action. And since the guy isnt a new member then its expected that "someone" will say something. So considering the amount of posts here then he was treated alot better than most people who would post OT.

As for his problem, if he cant return it now then (as said above) wait for christmas and just take the hit. I return a years worth of crap at BB at christmas time since that is the only time of the year they bend that "no reciept" rule. But of course we are talking about memory so it may not be worth much by then so just find out if the guy who bought it for you used a CC and have them look it up. They can track items paid by check and CC (but its such a hassle since the employees are so stupid and the managers are so very very bitter)

Your not returning anything to bestbuys without a receipt. They will probably take you in the back room and try and beat you up for even asking for any of the money they got from you back.

Customer service is the worst at best buys.

I've NEVER had problems returning still-sealed DVDs WITHOUT a receipt to my Best Buy in exchange for store credit. I usually just buy another DVD on the spot and either pay/get back a few dollars depending on the price mismatch...

For the record, I do not look like a punk kid...

Also for the record, I haven't yet been taken to a back room and been beat up...
