Well I just got off the phone with tech support with em... I'm gettin high ping times and 9% packetloss on my gateway. They figured out the prob in literally seconds. They are sending out a guy to come fix the prob. I'm so glad now that it is over with... bleh no gaming for the next week though :(

P.S. Is there any way for me to temp fix this? The problem is the downstream channel is 50% higher than normal? Umm I have no idea what I'm talking about but thats what the techie said. Can I do ANYTHING to make the connection better without the tools?

Well, if your 50% higher then normal, try throwing in some loss before your cable modem, ususally they just stick little filters (the name eludes me, taps, bridges?) which will dampen the signal from the cable line a certain dB level. Radio shack might have one, but you best bet is wait for them.
