Help burning Iso

I have the iso of linux on my desktop and I'm trying to use MAgic ISo to burn it onto a disk, but everytime I put it in the computer it shows up as a blank disk, I do it by the options "Burn cd/dvd with image-iso" or something like that.
 
4Well not for the actual burning but when I go to verify the data put on it I get disk read error a bunch of time at different sectors
