I just bought a brand new condo and had Cat6 run to my master bedroom, living room, and basement where I will have Plasma TV's. All the Cat6 is a separate run that all go back to my office where I will have my Highspeed Modem.

I plan to start off by having 7.1 System in my basement where my current receiver and Xbox 360 will go.

With that said I am looking to come up with some sort of solution whereby I can have all of my Mp3 audio, DVD rips and HD stored that can be accessed anywhere in the house through the Cat 6.

1. What type of (Hardware/Software) setup would I need in my office to server all of this stuff.

2. What kind of hardware would I need hooked up to my TV's to access this media.

3. Is there software that would look like a virtual library of sorts such as( i.e Netflix look and feel )that could provide a visual on my tvs to search for my movies and media.

Any help on breaking this down and providing the cheapest simplest solutions would be awesome.

I also have an old Xbox with XBMC on it. Could this be useful
