Ive been beating my head against the wall. Im hoping its not a bum board. I cant get over 140fsb. ive increased Memory/core voltages in every possible combination(i think), Ive pulled all my pci cards and unhooked all unneded devices. Ive also tried at very unagressive timings, all no good. this is my config, hopefully somone can help.

Athlon 1700+
Epox 8KHA+
512 Crucial pc2400
Creative Cf2 Ultra
Alpha Pal8045t w/50cfm sunon
SB live value
Intel 10/100 nic
windows XP
and loads of airflow.

Thanks in advance

Have you tried pumping up the FSB then lowering the multiplier? This may be a dumb question...

Agree with wind... sounds like you prob maxed out your proc.... If you could get a 10.5 multiplier you might get higher, or more cooling perhaps....

My guess is, its your memory.
I know crucial usually make good memory, but i've had some really bad micron chips(256mb * 4 in all)
