Guys I am getting this error message when I try to run ppstats.

Use of uninitialized value in concatenation (.) at ppstats-rc5.pl line 5129.
Use of uninitialized value in length at ppstats-rc5.pl line 5127.

^C
C:\PPSTATS\PPSTATS>

Do you have any idea what is going wrong? I've looked through the script best I can and can't find anything.
I ran this command to get the output
"perl -w ppstats-rc5.pl"
Any help is appreciated.

Might be your version of perl. Is this the Win32 version? If not, you can connect to my ftp server and download any of the following to help you out ftp://jator.2y.net

api522e.exe - THis is the Perl installer for Win32
gnuplot3_7 for the plot information
ppstats-rc5.ini - My ini file to use as a refrence
ppstatsrc5-7.1.pl file to check for debugging.

Thanks for the reply Jay. I think I'll try your version of perl. I am using activeperl. I had this working before my power supply died and I just got it going again today. Thanks again!:)

I'm using the latest build of ActivePerl and it's fine. Perhaps it's your version of gnuplot.

Well it's not the perl version. The one I DL'ed from Jay gives the same error.

Jay, I'm curious. Will that PERL interpreter work in Win9x or is it just for WinNT?

The files in my ftp have been used both on NT and 9x. I prefer NT as I can run the pproxy as a service, but never had a problem with 9x either.

Jay and Boberfett
I am using Win 2000. I haven't installed it as service yet until I get all programs to cooperate. I have all my clients (8) using this pProxy so the files are important to me. I wanted to point the rest of my cows at the pProxy, but I'm hesitant at this point.
It will allow me to keep better track of what exactly they are doing. What I can't understand is it was working before my system went down and now it won't no matter what I've tried. I have the gnuplot3.7 Bober refered to earlier and gd1.3. I went back to the newer version of ActivePerl 5.6.0.

You may have a corrupt perl script. Try downloading mine or a backup if you have one. If either runs fine, then that's where your problem lies. If not, looks like we have more investigating to do.

This message

<< Use of uninitialized value in concatenation >>

almost makes me think you may have changed something in the ppstats.ini file that you shouldn't have. Can you mail me the .ini so I can take a look?
