i think i did something dumb to my motherboard. i think i accidently messed up something in the bios. i might have switch agp to pci or something like that. right now, the computer is running but nothing shows on the monitor. i can't access the bios screen to change it back. i'm using the msi k7n2 delta 2 mobo. i tried taking everything apart and reseating everything. i tried to clear cmos by the jumpers. i don't know how long i'm suppose to switch the jumpers for but i did it for only 20 secs. still nothing works. all the parts are working on a different mobo when i tried it. anyone know anything else i can try beside using a pci video card (i have to buy one). i need help asap since this is my only computer.
thanks

You might want to pull everything (including CPU - completely everything) from the board, remove it from the case, disconnect all wires (including PSU), and pop the battery. Leave it that way for 45 minutes or so.

It shouldn't be a matter of whether AGP or PCI is set to initialize first. And you're absolutely sure that the monitor is ok, and that you have the monitor cable firmly connected to the video card?

Try the above directions, and make sure you leave it alone for a long time. As long as you can stand!

Give it a shot and let us know what happens.

i tried that yesterday, monitor is working fine with a different motherboard. i borrowed someone's mobo and used all the same part and same case and it worked fine. i acutally left it for over a day already and it still doesn't work.
