Hey guys,
i've come to see if anyone in this vast sea of techs can help. I've allready exhausted all local help that I can contact on UIUC campus and everyone is left scratching thier heads. So here's a chance to show em up [or perhaps, show that there are a few people in UIUC who've solved the oddest problems].

Here it goes:
I noticed this problem last night. I was unable to access a secure server to change my network passwords. I have tried with other computers on my floor, including my roomate and they can view it fine. I have uninstalled my firewall, turned off all security settings on IE and so on. I can access every other secure site on campus, but not this one.

Oh yea, let me mention what i mean by being unable to access. This is not a logon problem, oh no. That would be too easy. Rather, this is a problem of me even being able to view the page! Just a simple DNS error. Yet, everything looks great on dns. Nsllokup is fine, my ip has stayed static for the year and was previously able to access the page. Others are able to access the page with ease while IE taunts me with its error page. Need more info? Come ask!

EDIT: I forgot to add that besides my having no security to speak of atm, this page itself, although resides in https is not a secure page [until you click on logon that is]

Oh, I see... you say the page is not a secure page itself? I guess I should have read that first... If you cannot hit the regular http: address, then you should try pinging the address. If you can ping the text address, and the numeric ip address, then you should be able to get the page. If you can ping the ip/text address, but cannot get to the web page, then you have a software problem. If you cannot ping the numeric/text address, then you have a problem with your isp, which is most likely a bad route. Does that make any sense, or does it sound like I'm trying too hard to work talk drink and type at the same time?
