Ok. I hate Aopen even more now. I bought one of those stupid aopen slot fans, the ones that go in an empty slot,and the rail touched something on the mobo and POOF! Smoke.I whipped out the mobo and noticed a copper lead that has melted apart. I would like to know if I should solder the contacts together or am I asking for trouble. My other question is this:
I took out the blown board and put in my trusty old BH6. I took my memory and put it in the BH6. The stick is 256meg 133mhz CL3 ECC but the BH6 only recognizes 128megs. Could I have fried half the memory (its double sided) or does the BH6 not support this type of memory. thanks in advance guys. I hate that POS aopen fan.
