just finished building a system ( my 4th or so) and I am getting a sporadic "0028:c1497949 in VXD ANVCOR (01) + 000382E9" blue screen of death.

The VXD ANVCOR seems to be associated with the vid card but I don't know....this is the first real incompatability I have run into my brief building career that has me really stumped.

I have taken the Asus drivers off and reloaded them ( I have the driver pack with the VGART and so on).

Windows 98SE
ABIT BE6 II (no raid)
256 ram
Asus gf2 pro
soundblaster live
Acer dvd-cd
Pentium III 850e@952

Any ideas?

have you tried bumping your bus speed down? I know 112 isn't much, but it might be worth a try. I can't imagine a GF2 not being able to take 112.

I'll try taking the bus down a little but it seems strange that 112 would cause a problem. Ram 133 rev.2 Mushkin

I do have the IBM 75GXP 30gig on the ata66 highpoints. But I don't see that as a problem.
