Help........ ASAP Please

i have a kk266 w/ 1gig@1330 . turn machine off no problems. just turn machine on did'nt get usual beep but keyboard lit up, harddrive light lit up, dvd & cdrw lit up but no picture. monitior stays in self test saying cable. Is it my radeon 64?
help........ all my real work is on that machine.

First try to see if your cable is corectly plug in your video card.Also look for loose or bent pins.
Second clear your Cmos by pressing your "INSERT" on bootup or from your mobo's jumper.
How many beeps do you hear on boot up?

Did the cable thing already, along w/clearing the cmos. double ck again for bent pins, none. hit power switch... she's up. Now what cause that?

i have the same problem as you. I have to turn it on like 4 times before I can get her to boot. anyone have any ideas? possibly cuz it might be overclocked too far?

Is weather getting hotter? Maybe the temp is making your overclock less stable?

Try starting your cpu up first let it run for like 5-10 seconds then turn on your moniter. ever since i upgrade my graphics card i have had to do that or the motherboard or anything wont respond. no beeps no nothing. everything is hooked up right too.
