Help - Application "Stuck" trying to download on iPhone

I was trying to download an app onto my phone, but it is now stuck. It is still grayed out because it isn't finished downloading, but there is no movement on the progress bar (been 3 days now).

When I put the screen into the mode where you can move and delete apps I don't get an "X" on this particular app. Is there some other way to terminate the app?

Have you tried downloading the app in iTunes and syncing?

This usually works, as does hard shutting off and rebooting.

I normally just reboot. Hold down the home and top buttons at the same time for 10 sec.

Have you tried just single clicking on the app? This pauses/restarts apps in the download/install phase. I had this happen once and that worked for me.

Holding the top button only for a few seconds usually works for me.
