i dont know if i posted this before so apologies if i did. My "server" computer worked fine for a long time then i had it off for 3 or 4 months now when i turn it on it doesnt even display teh video card screen, sometimes it will boot fine others it does the above. more often stopping before the video card display any ideas why its doing this. the unit is powerd because i hear the HD start and all the fans work. the light on the MB also is lit. i have a abit-VP6
 
i just reinstalled everything because i thought that might be the case, im afraid its something wrong with one of the buses ont he bother board
 
The VP6 had a bad reputation overall, and might be affected by the leaky-capacitor issue. Any of the capacitors look like they might be bulging and/or leaking electrolyte?
