I've been looking and reading up on mobos for several weeks now. I was all set on getting the Abit IS7 until I realized that the IS7-E is the same card less the giga-lan and raid support (neither of which I will use). I downloaded the manual and was reading through it just now and saw that the Game Accelerator (GAP is what I think people call it) doesn't come on the IS7-E.

So my question is, how important is GAP?

The key aspects of the rig I'm building are as as follows -

P4 2.8C Ghz 800 FSB with HT
1 Gig Crucial PC3200
Raeon 9800 Pro

I may do some slight overclocking. But I'm not much into benchmarks. Mainly I just game a lot. Do you think I will notice a difference between having GAP and not having it?

Thanks.

I think the IS7 only is what $10 more. I would go for it. Even if you don't use them, what if you go to sell it then those features will come in handy, or you might even need them one day, never know.
