Hey everyone, I recently installed the additionaly 3 USB Ports that came with my ASUS A7V motherboard, now I'm having USB troubles with my Epson 740 Printer. My Win98SE will not detect my printer. For it to detect my printer, I've got to unplug and plug back in my USB cord to the back of my tower. What is causing this problem? How can I fix it? Any Ideas???? Thanks very much =)

Yea, I need some help on this too. For some reason only 2 of the 3 ports work, and they are randomly chosen when I start-up my computer. What's up with that?

i believe one of the ports is for a hub or something like that and the other 2 are for devices. try all 3 till you find one that works or do what i did and buy hub to plug into computer. the A7V is notourious for USB trouble

DaNg. . USB problems!!:|I think I'm just going to uninstall those additional 3 USB ports and if I really need more than 2 USB ports at all times, I'm just gonna buy a hub. Hopefully that will do the trick. Thanks HClark for the info

ever since i bought the hub my problems have been solved. did you install the USB filter from via? you must have that installed also, here is link for it via website try this also before abandoning the 3 port USB adapter. might help it out.
