I'm gonna build a computer soon (first time) and I'm planning to overclock a Duron 850 running on an Abit KT7 kt133a-RAID. I'm looking for cool cases (preferebly with a good powersupply and noise does not matter). I would like to list some best cases used for o/cing. Also, could you put in price if available and also if you're using the case, specs would be nice =)

THANKS

(If your not lazy... some other tips on cooling would be nice hehe)

hmm.. the fong kai 320 and the antec sx 830 (or 1030) are good cases... you can get both at www.directron.com for about 98 bucks... you can also upgrade the stock power supplies to enermax 330w ones which is the one i have.. it's great

i was gonna get a kt7a-raid but i changed my mind and got an asus a7v133... it's great and very stable, i think more people like these more than abit because of abit's high rma rates... i have an older abit board and i love it but i didnt really wanna take the chance.. the a7v133 is a great board (except for clearing the cmos)

some quiet case fans are panaflo L1a's, but since you're not worried about noise you can get those high powered sunon fans.. hmm, round your cables and keep things outta the way of airflow, and you'll be good to go ;)

Ku, check out tech support page sometime I don't know if the abit is the route you want to go...I agree with the asus option.

I believed it was mentioned a week ago that abit is no longer mentioned as a recommended mobo for AMD...I haven't verified this but check it out.

thanks for the tips! any further advice is still welcome.

OO! another question just popped into my head... how much is it for a case to be shipped? is the overall price cheaper than buying from a retail store?

Onvia has free shipping so you could look there for good deals. Normally though I have seen shipping on cases go for about $25 at least.
