Joebob (I love that name!!) - You say the Tbird is unlocked..am I correct?
If so, you should be able to lower the multiplier of the CPU in BIOS (assuming the Asus has multiplier adjustment) & increase fsb (assuming this adjustment is avaiolable as well).
Like Osage says....if your CPU is
locked, then you'll need to use a
Pencil to connect the L1 bridges....thus multiplier unlocking.
If you increase resulting multiplier X fsb over the rated speed of the processor, then you may need to increase th core voltage - but do it sparingly - too m uch voltage
can damage your processor.
