I have a 900 mhz T-bird unclocked and an Asus A7V133. I have read that it is possible to get 200MHZ FSB T-Birds to 266 MHZ FSB. How do I do this? Do I have to connect the bridges? I'm not into overclocking it at all, I just want the higher FSB. Will this increase the heat?

Your temps will go up a bit if you increase the voltage. You will need to connect the L1 bridges to enable the multiplier change.
Do a search here for the answer to your other questions.

good luck

Joebob (I love that name!!) - You say the Tbird is unlocked..am I correct?

If so, you should be able to lower the multiplier of the CPU in BIOS (assuming the Asus has multiplier adjustment) & increase fsb (assuming this adjustment is avaiolable as well).

Like Osage says....if your CPU is locked, then you'll need to use a
Pencil to connect the L1 bridges....thus multiplier unlocking.

If you increase resulting multiplier X fsb over the rated speed of the processor, then you may need to increase th core voltage - but do it sparingly - too m uch voltage can damage your processor.

you'll have to use a lower multiplier to use the increased fsb! doubt that the chip could cope & be stable with just upping the fsb!
