HELP: A client has W2k - peoplesoft isnt compat so we need to install win98...how do i dual boot?

ok we have a 20 gig boot partition (Fat32) and we need it to dual boot Win98SE - I would like to just install it on top of win2k partition (since they install in different DIR's this shoudl be ok) but i dont know how to tell win2k that i have 2x vers of windows and I dont even know if this will work?


please help as the client is getting pissed 🙂

Unless you use something like Partition Magic, it would be better to loaded Win 98 first then W2K. W2K would then create the proper boot loader for the ability to switch between the two.

Do a backup of their data and the fdisk the drive into two FAT32 partitions of 10 GB each. Boot the Windows 98 from CD and load it. Then run the W2k setup.
