3dgames and 3dmark 2001 some times crash or eventually crash when playing them. comp totally freezes.... I installed the ide drivers at epox website and i installed a agp driver named agp2k522.exe which is funny tho cause EPOX doesnt have that file on there website any more?

system specs are:

1.4ghz t-bird
epox 8k7a mobo
512mb ram
win 2k
sound blaster live value
3com nic
PRophet 2 64mb (geforce 2 64mb)
MAXTOR HD
400watt antec ps

 
your motherboard has the via 686b southbridge.

i had the same problem with my Asus A7V133 and a SB Live card. I switched to the TB Santa Cruz and have not had the same issues w/ 3d.
 
there are still some conflicts between the sblive and the epox motherboard. download the via 4in1 drivers from VIA Hardware, but do not install the AGP miniport driver. this SHOULD solve your problem.
