The same guy that I predicted would most likely win many pages ago won. I was suspecting more drama for the finale though.

LOL! Andrea has no idea how to cook. Most of them have no idea what they are doing.

She overcooked the scallops and this is the first time she's cooked fish? WTF!!!!!! Useless she is. If danny doesn't win this it's a tragedy.

You can cook that halibut in like 4-6 minutes, TOPS.

I'm pretty sure she said it was the first time that she's cooked halibut, not fish.

I feel cheated not knowing how the dinner survey results stacked up (did I miss ramsey commenting on this??) I'd like to assume he made the right choice, but without that its mystifying.

Anyhow, congrats to danny. Both were awesome under pressure.

I'm also sick of the former losers coming back and not giving a sh!t who wins. There needs to be a cash incentive to win for these guys.

Personally if I were paula or danny, I'd tell them 'each get $1k tax free if we win.'

At the finale of one of the seasons the head chef did this, but their team still lost. I think it was Virginia's team in season 2 if I remember correctly.

Its not a guarantee, but its always the worst cooks that don't care because along the course of the show they don't get strong support from everyone. Without personal performance incentive, all they have to do is show up to collect their appearance fee (which I assume they get.)

While I'm glad Danny won, did he have to jump up and scream like a girl after he walked through the door?

Nope. He should have just sauntered down the stairs, shook his dad's hand, pecked his GF on the cheek, walked out and go get shitfaced drunk.

I honestly think winning meant more to him than Paula. I don't think his reaction made him any less of a cook or less of a man.

Agreed. Agreed. Don't agree. 😀

I bet Danny really felt amped. Paula will not lose anything really--she's gotten a crap load of cred and I'm sure she has the connections. Danny was more of a "redneck" and he needed it more than Paula I think.

Just finished watching the finale. So glad that Danny won! I think both him and Paula are going to be doing pretty sweet in a couple of years. I couldn't get over the fish on the walls in his restaurant though.... so hilarious! I LOVED the way Paula's restaurant looked.

ETA - And Lacey? That girl should stick to making Pop Tarts and fish sticks. She's worthless.

Lacey cant even heat up my chef boyardee can

Bumping this since the show is back today at 7 on Fox.

To tired to make a new thread so if anyone has the energy go for it. 😉

From what I read in previews it looks like a few of the contestants try to get tough with Gordon. Should be fun to watch!

I'm starting to think it's turning into another American Idel. They pick people or the people come on just to do one thing and that is to heckle and raise the ratings.

DVRing it tonight. Someone should make a new thread considering this one has ~400 replies right now. I would but I'm not going to be able to watch tonight.
