Ralph has an attitude that may piss him off, however

What's up with Mike and his 3am conversations with himself?

he likes ralph in general. chris' executive chef thing really pissed him off from the very start.

mike's crazy. his only shot now is to be the one who chooses people for elimination to the very end. he'll be the first one put up for elimination now.

LOL. That had me rolling.:D

Anyone watch it last night?

My predictions for it are:

The blond chick goes home next week. They are setting Michael up to be a conniver so he takes a nice fall the week after (probably after they edit him doing a bunch of scamming that episode). It will come down to Ralph and Elsie and of course they will go with the fairy tale ending having Elsie win.

The show is really edited to make people one dimensional.

I was suprised at how long Jimmy stayed in....won the battle, but the got kicked out....but other than that you sound right....Ralph is almost "too good" he started off that way for the Blue team, and continued to do so.....was I the only one who thought that Michael tried to black mail the blonde chick?

Would watch something else if something else was once..............................

Jimmy was a good sport. They really made him out to be a fat clod but he had a good attitude and tried pretty hard. I think Michael sabatoged the blonde chick but he hid the meat off camera. Ralph's good, but he's such a greaseball. I wouldn't want that dude cooking my food. I think Michael will end up with a show on the Food Network no matter what. He's freaky looking enough to be one of those extreme chiefs.

Well I was wrong. Looks like it's Michael vs Ralph. Kinda hope Mike wins because Ralph reminds me of a janitor, not a chef. No point even watching next week because we know the blonde chick is going home.

Bet you money it's not the chick going home next week.

The more I watch this show, the more I like it. Watching Kitchen Nitemares (or whatever it's called) on BBC makes me like Gordon Ramsey a lot more too. He's a good guy that rides his employees. No different than a hard nosed tough as nails basketball coach that rides hard to get results. He was a bit overboard the first episode or two, but the guy gets results from people and is fine outside of the kitchen.

I can buy it. It will make for a boring last episode though -- unless she wins in the end!

With 7 Michelin stars and Martial Arts training (I can't remember which discipline) he can be as rude as he likes. No one will be busting his balls.

He does it to get results. There is no time for BS in a top-flight commericial kitchen.

Michael. won...

The show was entertaining to watch, but in reality Ramsey picked the guy who was the best chef. If thats the case then they should have started the show with all chefs and not amateurs that had no chance to win anyway.

Yep. Michael was great. Ralph was good too, how that freak Jessica made it so far I'll never know.

I'm glad Michael won, he seems more creative than Ralph and equally as good as a chef...

i love that show. I thought Ralph was going to win big time, but i was hoping that micheal would and he did! =) =0 =) i understand him going to London b/c @ this early time he wouldve cracked with his own place.

Rocks that Michael won. Ralph would be good running a deli (which is what he does now) but Michael was more creative and a better chef. He made the right choice. Studying under Ramsey he's set for life. The best part was when Dewberry said he wanted to be Brad Pitt's wife.

Gordon Ramsey is an awesome man. He's got a similar show 'kitchen nightmares' or something where he goes into failing restaurants and fixes them up.

At first he seems seriously harsh, abusing people and breaking them down, but after only a short time he turns people around and makes them into top quality chefs. It's kind of like a 'boot camp' in the army, or whatever. There's lots of shouting and initially it seems pointless, but after a short time you have a group of people working like a well oiled machine.

Gordon is hugely knowledgable and knows how to run a kitchen. He comes down hard on people's mistakes but really builds them up when they perform well. A great team manager who would be awesome in any field.

The show wouldn't have been nearly as entertaining if everyone was competant like Mike and Ralph.

I caught the episode last week and saw the finale last night. I was glad the show turned out to be rather entertaining.

Interesting to see if Michael actually becomes anything.
