Hell's Kitchen Season Finale had a whiny sore loser

I started watching this season, but every person on the show was just so damn annoying and ugly and fat, and I quit watching about 1/3 of the way through.

i only made it thru a few episodes, and don't care to watch again. this was easily the worst bunch yet, and has totally damaged the show, imo. never mind ugly and fat (annoying is a fact) these clowns couldn't handle a tuna sandwich. and gordon is going to give one of them a job in a high-end restaurant? yeah, right.

masterchef usa, on the other hand, was pretty good. i haven't seen the uk or australian shows.

just from the post title...

I am assuming the dude lost?

my assumption is based on the fact that he has the most arrogant attitude towards his own cooking abilities, and how he views himself as superior, yet i bet when he loses he whines like a fucking bitch.

This is the first season I didn't watch...usually it is on through the summer when all the other shows are on break.

everyone one on those cooking shows ends up whining like a little bitch at some point.

It's men trying to be the Holly Hobby they couldn't be when growing up.

I think this year they were "trying out" slightly different formats.

There was a full season this past summer, followed by ANOTHER full season this fall.

The season this past summer, the contestants were significantly more competent and the final 6 were all actually pretty good. Less drama than normal, more cooking than normal.

The season this fall, the contestants were (a) larger/fatter, (b) WAY more crazy / out there, (c) significantly less talented from the get-go. Way more drama than normal, way more "lunatic" / "throw away" contestants.

I think they were actually "testing in production" (as IT guys would say), in that they were determining which types of contestants resulted in higher ratings. Since the show is very popular now, it is unlikely to get cancelled based on one bad season. That position allows them the ability to test their theories and get paid for testing their theories at the same time.

Getting a little old. Every season is the same. 20 contestants, none of which deserve to be there, teams are always kept as even as possible. The final luxury challenge every season (winner gets first pick of sous chefs) always goes to a 2/2 split and then a final vote for someone.

Just nothing new being brought to the table. I'd like to have them get a season going with "Top Chef" quality contestants. Every season it seems like they stop by McDonald's all around the country and grab staff that just got fired.

i stopped watching it. they really seem to let go good cooks and keep the crappy ones for the drama. then when it comes to judging its always a split even though he will say one sucks and the other is great.

seem like its scripted.

I gave up on this show a season or 2 back. I loved it when it first aired but its just beyond lame now. I still completely enjoy all of Ramsay's real shows on the BBC though. Everything he has done in the US has turned to trash. Kitchen Nightmare's US was horrible, HORRIBLE compared to the BBC version.

you could be on to something, but, these shows were taped over a year ago. i think they are simply throwing cooking out the window and going for the jerry springer factor. it's already at the limit of what most people can handle (over the top in music, commercials, every contest goes to the last point, etc). just how low is the lowest common denominator?

edit:
is this show governed by game show laws (a la quiz show)? it seems very close to being totally fake

None of them are given a restaurant. Despite what the show advertises they all wind up working as sous chefs with a trumped-up title under a real head chef that Gordon Ramsey trusts. At least one never took the job at all and a couple have quit inside the first few months.

im not reading any of this thread because i haven't watched it yet, but i just want to thank you OP for basically spoiling it in the fucking title of this thread, because there really is only 1 whiny little bitch left in the show. thanks for spoiling it to me that russel comes in 2nd and nona wins, because i am going to watch it tonight after work.

oh and now if you change the title i'll even be 100% certain that it is russel.

if i'm wrong i'll come back here to eat crow after i watch it.

If that is the way chefs act in real working kitchens I'm surprised we haven't seen one go postal slaughtering the entire kitchen with a butcher knife. Those people need anger management training big time. I wouldn't even stay in a competition with people that angry.

I think he was the better chef, but still not that great. I think Nona won because no one wants to work with an asshat like Russel.
I can't believe he blamed losing on his chef's and not himself.

I think that was the main reason he didn't win. He treated the chef's in his kitchen with even less respect than Ramsay does and was constantly trash talking and threatening them. Why would Ramsay put his name behind someone like that?

I was hoping Jullian was going to be in the Final. Personality goes a long way, and that guy obviously has issues. I almost thought they'd had to call security at the end when he looked at Ramsey. Just a 8 year old that never grew up.

Show is complete trash. Way too many seasons and they keep churning them out. It's the same show every season and the chefs are losers.
