Yes SeaMoose, I hate that as well.

<----American

Yeah, dont get me wrong, i like americans (lol why would i post in an american forum) But those shows are sttttopid

Only reason I watch it is because Gordon Ramsay is a hero of mine, and it blows time. Although of late I'm not a big watcher--never really was if I'm honest.

This season is really pitiful. They should rename it to 'who's the best line cook'. The only thing falling faster than Ramsey's Hell's Kitchen is Ramsey's restaurant empire.

He seems to be coping with the recession extremely well for a business which is highly dependant on being a luxury item.

Robert to the hospital again?? He shouldn't be on the show to begin with after what happened before. Lose the f'n weight or you'll die young dude.

he did... in the 1 year that passed between season 5 and season six.. he lost 55 pounds .. and had gastric bypass surgery.

not enough IMO .. he shouldn't be putting this much stress on himself, regardless of who he wants to work for. it's not good for his health.

It's partly in fault because of the punishment for losing the challenge.

damn, by the looks of him, i thought he had gained 40-50 lbs, though it's tough to tell when someone is that massive.

either way, he shouldn't be there.

I think the "block" and decision was correct in the case. All three were in what I would call the "bottom 3" and pretty much shows what the next 2 weeks will be like. I'm thinking Tenille (sp?) next week then the guy the week after. They never let the show get too lopsided.

He lost weight?!?!?!? It might have disappeared briefly, but it looks like it came back and brought along a lot of friends. He's a huge disgusting slob, he'll be dead inside 2 years if he can't put down the Ho-Hos once in a while.

Agreed. Who thought it would be a good idea to put a 400lb man on a bicycle and make him peddle his fat ass up a hill? The producers are begging for a lawsuit if he croaks.

I'm sure he signed a waiver, but that really was a retarded aspect to the usual penalty

On the last Sea Moose:
the other thing i hate is how some american shows constantly have to recap. Are some people over there that stupid that shows need to have stupid dramatic music to keep your attention and need to constantly recap, cause your too stupid to remember whats going on?

It's not that we're stupid, it's just that we forget stuff. Uh...

Right, the recap thing is kind of annoying, but it has its place. Weren't you asking about something?

Well, it's not that we're stupid, we just forget stuff. Why do you ask?

Hmmm... Your post is boring now. What the hell were you even talking about?

I agree about the recaping, it's ridiculous. I watch it on Hulu so I can fast forward it. I'd say at least 10% of the show is recapping what just happened, probably more.

I really liked this show the first few seasons, but it's too predictable. Maybe if they had real chefs that knew what they were doing instead of random people it'd be good... I guess it's like a game show in that respect.

is it hard to cook scallops? not really...
is it hard to cook scallops, and make lobster, and make spaghetti and make salad at the same time, to gordon ramsey's exacting standards?

yes.

yes it is

The producers wanted the fat guy on a bike because they wanted him to stroke out or at least need a run to the ER. They wanted those shots of ambulance/sirens to stir excitement for their coming attractions. :disgust:

Ugh, I can't wait for her to get the boot. She's got the biggest mouth and ego out of all of them but she has failed to deliver a decent service a single time.

the blue team got owned. Ramsay at his best, "Shut it off! Fuck off!"

i hope Robert or Andy goes home

Why did Ramsey like Robert anyways? he seemed lazy, like he would struggle in a high energy, high service, environment because of his health...

Do0d, give Sea Moose a break, he's merely recapping his one intelligible point.

It must be some sort of Aussie thang. <shrug>

Tonight was my first full Hell's Kitchen, but Robert really seemed like a bitch. I like the redneck fish guy and the stoner with the broken arm.
