I ANM HAVING WIERD PROBLEMS playing splinter cell dowble agent. the characters appears stretched .here are the screens

any information would be greatly appreciated

What are your settings and hardware?

AMD ATHLON 1.8 GHZ
2GB RAM
NVIDIA 8500GT
19 inch widescreen

as far as setting are concerned i use the lowestsetting

And one thing . wat the hell is this? i have the latest graphics drivers .

you have an 8800 series video card, don't you?

you have to bypass the launcher program.
create a shortcut to the SP .exe file
in the target section of the shortcut (right click, properties), at the end of the line type a space and -LL

so for exampel, you have c:\program files\ubisoft\scda\scda_sp.exe -LL


i had the same exact problem and that fixed it.

Double agent doesn't officially support the 8000 series cards, thats why

T he demo version works well without any stretched characters. donno wats wrong with the full version

thats because you're doing it wrong. you put the -LL in the launcher shortcut's target window. you have to create a new shortcut to the actual single player .exe file.

here's where the file is located (you may need to change the drive letter if you installed to a different drive):

C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Double Agent\SCDA-Offline\System\SplinterCell4.exe
