I'm beginning to get the impression that gals don't like to be referred to as "soccer moms". I asked our secretary at work if she was a soccer mom. She said, "NO! I am NOT a soccer mom! I'm a hockey mom." She started joking around after that, but I think she meant it about not liking to be called that. I just wondered what she took from that first debate. At this point I still don't know which way she leans. I asked whether she was registered or not, and she said she was. Still didn't crack on which way she would vote. You gals are cagey that way

Oh, and why would that be offensive? Good Lord, you see what I'm called around here and it STILL doesn't bother me!
