hey

EDIT: :) welcome to our team, I'm sure you'll enjoy our community!

Just to let you know: this december we have a "double-race": folding@home and worldcommunitygrid, last year in november we participated in a big seti race and we have a special racing sub-team. As you can see we like competition. You're free to opt in or out of these races, fun always comnes first!

I'm sure you'll see your fleet expand at an exponential scale in the coming year :D

Thanks Philippart and TAandy. I looked around a bit before coming here. Hoping to add a few comps to SETI and GPU to F@H. AK v.8 SSE4.1 rocks!!!!

It's inside the castle, so you can't see it from the outside :D

That reminds me, why do I only have two pictures of belt winners on the Team AnandTech blog? :(

Oh yeah. Forgot. It's heated by all of our fleets' heat output. My fleet alone puts out about a kW of heat continuously when it's actually up and running.

Thank you Assimilator1 for the warm welcome. I'm using a Dell Inspiron 9300 with a P3D Dothan Pentium M at 2.13GHz. 2GB RAM/XP sp3 32 bit. Good thing is the support of SSE2, so v.8 SSE2 and WU times go from ~9 hours to 2.5. The second cruncher is a Sager "notebook", more accurately a SFF with a 20 min. Li ion UPS. This has the q9650, 4 GB 800 MHz RAM, Vista Ultra 64 bit, and 2 G9800 GTX in SLI, and running the v.8 SSE4.1 which halved WU time.
I see Archangel over at Lunatics is working on a CUDA optimization. Nice thought, eh?

Thank you Neurodog for the Hey. I'm from the good ole U.S. of A. but now living in OC unfriendly Malaysia. I know the time diff. is going to be a problem, I've been amazed at those of you posting here to welcome me. I'm something of a Neuro dabbler myself, by the by.

Someone has to clean the bathrooms. :D Oh, um, hi DMMD. Enjoying your stay. By the way, the yellow moat around the castle is limoncello. Ignore any fingers that my wife photoshops in.

Thanks Zim Hosein and Fullmetal Chocobo and PCTC2. I'm afraid I got a wee bit carried away in the castle last night. The beer is gone (and I realy liked the Red Tail) the tub is sporting a suspiscious ring stain and the wind turbines have been OC'd far beyond safe QPI/BCLCK.

You get to clean the tub, and the wind turbines--WAIT! The beer is gone. Oh you are so voted off the island. ROFL.

Just kidding. Loss of beer is no problem. Everyone will just have to drink limoncello.

EDIT: I have a bottle saved just for the TeAm from the recent batch. :D

Wait a fricken minitoto FC, loss of beer is no problem? What kinda' joint are you runnin' here?
Just kiddin', I'll gladly 'hose' down the tub after another Tiger, may I get you a cold one? As I am a noob here, is a limoncello a recycled jello popper? Perhaps we should take up a 'collection' to get one of those ISS PISS recyclers. Just ask for one sans fire alarm and centrifuge buffers. Should be a discount.
