I got a question right away...

Is the Dual Celeron comes in january also with the Penryns..??
Does that mean that it will be Penryn base?
A 45nm Celeron Duo....
Celeron Duo is a good marketting name...

I don't have any problems with most Cellys - single- or dual-core. They are, however, synonymous with entry-level and have a pretty bad (undeserving) rep with 'enthusiasts'.

it think the dual core celly will be price @ $50

yeah...

but the problem is when it will be 45nm..there will be mobos that will not support 45nm..
for example in corporate were they buy mostly celerons..
if the single core celerons they've bought is paired with a 945mobo...it will require a new mobo again to move from single celeron to dual..

not so sure about that . . . if a 945 mobo supports C2D I assume it will support C2 Cellys with a bios update - not sure about the fsb of the new cellys, however

I don't see corps going 2x cores for the sake of upgrading on the low end. Not a whole lot to gain price/performance/employee time.

The new Cellys will simply drive entry-level boxes cheaper and possibly squeeze AMD on the low-end
