This is my first post! I'm registering specifically, because I'll be building two new PC's in the coming months and will undoubtedly come to a point where I'll need the advice of the likes of you all. I've also decided to register at this particular hardware-centric forum because I was highly impressed with Anand's SSD articles. So in-depth and informative, thank you for writing them. I found it fascinating that thorough real-world analysis and feedback this kind of tech-journalism can really help to keep manufacturers honest and responsive to the end user; ultimately helping us all by doing a part in improving the hardware itself. I look forward to reviews and breakdowns of products to come. Often it's hard to get a straightforward explanation of a particular technology but Anand and the other contributors here do a fine job at making new technology accessible. Many thanks for that!

Welcome to ATOT. It's a lot of fun, as long as you don't take anything too personally. Stay clear of P&N unless you're into Masochism. When you do post about anything, make sure it's in the right forum or else someone will post your error in .2 seconds and complain about it. Wait about 5 or 10 posts on a topic you don't have EXTENSIVE knowledge of the topic or a witty remark. This section of the forums does not contain the professional and rational thought that the reviews contain.
