Hello HTPC

Does anyone know when an onboard video chipset will arrive that supports the full range of HDTV resolutions, including 1080p?

That would be nice...sort of a future proof to those of us that don't upgrade every 6 months...

Hopefully, it'll be fast enough for HTPC playback... the current series of VIA chips leave a little bit to be desired in that regard. They make great firewall boxes though. 🙂
 
I'm going to build my new MC boxen around the XFX 7300GS with HDMI output and HDCP support due out soon.
