...that's '98 1st Edition.

That is so not even the same thing.

One day when I have the money and the free space in my house I am going to make and keep proper DOS, Win98, and Win XP gaming machines.

Running in emulation or virtual machine isnt close to good enough. And theres a buttload of old titties I love.
fixed

lol fun. I need to install windows 98 again, just for the nostalgia purpose. Man I reinstalled that OS so many times. I only learned about the wonders of imaging software by the time I upgraded to windows 2000, which did not need to be reinstalled so often.

I think I threw out all my copies of anything earlier than Windows XP. Might have a copy of Windows NT Server around here somewhere though.

I think I still have a legit copy of windows 98 somewhere. well I don't know how legit it is in Microsoft's eyes because it's OEM, so I technically am not allowed to install it on another computer. Oh, that CD has been put into so many cdrom drives and taken for a spin, it is far from a virgin.

I have most Windows(MS) from DOS-Win7 plus Server2k8. I think the only one I'm missing is ME, but that might be in a box somewhere.

Absolutely. But with a Stance of Dominance. And then you yell "Fuck yeah!" when done.

The speed of sound is defined by the distance from door to computer divided by the time interval needed to close the media player and pull up your pants when she shouts 'OH MY GOD WHAT ARE YOU DOING

They say if you play a Microsoft CD backwards, you hear satanic messages. Thats nothing, cause if you play it forwards, it installs Windows

Hello from my new user account... I deleted my "Roaming" folder cause of a virus, then emptied the recycling bin - "only way to be sure".

Ya, effed some things up, so I just started over.

I have a Pentium Pro machine that is overclocked to 233 MHz, has 96 MB of RAM, a SCSI CD burner, about 7 GB of drive space, a Matrox Millennium II, and most importantly, a Voodoo II. It is sitting jn my garage and I really need to bring it in one day and hook it up. I actually have a second Voodoo II and may have to try SLI. I think it is running Win98, release 2 (the one with USB support).

ME was as bad as everyone said, which still shocks me. Win98 was pretty decent for its time so I am still baffled by how they messed ME up so badly. I actually decided to live with any incompatibilities I might have and blew it away and installed 2000 Pro instead.

I think I still have all of those, plus the server versions (NT and 2000) and if I am not mistaken, Windows 3.1 on floppy somewhere. Plus the full boxed editions of Office 95 through Office XP IIRC. Those bastards on eBay won't let me sell them because they're NFR copies.
