You're welcome to join. I couldn't add anyone for the last week because I was 'on vacation' :(

Who is your current web host?

I think I get less than that, and even if I don't, I certainly don't need all that space, so I'd be more than satisfied.

It's also nice because you can host multiple domains. If you want to host some clients and charge them $5 - $10/mo you can. How you use your resources is totally up to you. You can host 1 domain or 20.

Any info on sql support?

MySQL

Also, my host originally registered my domain for me, so I am curious, how hard is it to transfer my domain to the new host and reregister it? I assume I can just use a cheap domain registrar (not sure who though, advice would be appreciated).

That depends on who is listed as the domain owner, if it's YOUR E-MAIL ADDRESS it should be easy to transfer to a real domain registrar (namecheap.com or godaddy.com).

Otherwise you may be screwed.

Hmm..the domain is registered under my name, but I am unsure if I still have access to the e-mail address associated with the domain. Hmm...

In any case...thanks you your advice rossman, at least I know my options now. This looks pretty good.

I dont remember if someone had a 'protest the vacation' thread... or i saw 'unban So' in someone's sig. but I was like ...WTF? how could he get a vacation. But then i remember that it was vacation madness here for a few days.

Yeah. They gave me a vacation for a PARODY thread. Mind you, I got the vacation hours after the last reply in said thread
