Hello DP2

Well, I didn't quite expect to see this. Of course, given how the DP1's speed and interface were quite lacking, I won't get my hopes up for this one.

But, 41mm/2.8 is promising. If they can work on the UI some, it might be worthy... unless Olympus/Panasonic can give some firm dates/prices for their compact micro 4/3's stuff.

if they had that lens on it to begin with people wouldn't have complained about it so much.

if olympus can keep to the concept's dimensions the DPx becomes pointless.

Goodbye DP2.

I dunno, there's a market for it. Not everyone wants interchangeable lenses. Olympus could flop hard on the UI like the DP1 did. Or just be more expensive than we'd have thought.

Granted, the DP2 could not fix any of the UI/speed issues and be an utter flop too... but that's a given.

I'm just glad there's some more entry into the field

that's probably the only case; if the DPx cost less than an Olympus M4/3 with lens, then I will see the Sigma make sense. Frankly I don't think Oly will flop on the UI if they can copy and paste what they have on the E-4/5xx series.

me too, competition is good.
