I was hoping that someone would guide me as to how to Find out more about my old computer, specificaly the mother board. So far iv been snooping around the device manager and found couple things, but still unable to figure out what mother board i have.
also hoping to find out about the power supply if its a possibility. 😛

ACPI PC
NVIDIA GeForce2 MX/MX 400 (AGP ?x)
AMD Athlon(tm) Proccesor
256 SDRAM (hoping to find more detailed info on this one)

Any help would be appriciated.

yeah... welcome.

First: open your computer case, and find letters printed on your motherboard that are larger than the rest. This is usually the model.

Every company uses different models, so just finding that is about enough.

You can also use free programs like Belarc Advisor or Everest Home Edition to get system info.

As far as the PSU, it should have labeling on the side of it. At a minimum it should have how many watts, and the amps on each rail (12v, 5v, 3.3v).

And Welcome to the forums! 🙂
