I originally paid $50 for the pre-release beta.

I say it's was okay, but not worth 50 bucks.

It was originally VERY fun to go through normal level with all 6 leves, then it became all grind and boring in Nightmare mode. And the graphics keep on getting better patch after patch (or, in the "half-emptied" point of view, the graphics should be that good in the very beginning before any patches)

MP co-op is probably the only redeeming factor now. I enjoy playing Evoker most.

Inventory problem is solved by right clicking and disassembling loot. Even that gets tedious though, autodisassemble for items is very much wanted.

Environments are limited but getting better (stonehenge added 3 or 4 new types). Story is weak. Quests are even weaker. But hell diablo 2's quests were even worse (story was better though).

Being forced to click through a TON of text on every new character (even in elite where you must have beat the game once already) gets old, but minor complaint. Once you get past the first two or three stations (towns) some of the quest text becomes actually worth reading.

Quests are all the same basic types, the couple that are "exceptions" are the low points of the game. (Shooting down the exo and killing Beelzebub are hideously boring). But there are a couple funny bits of story in later quests that make them not so bad. (Well of Eternal Happiness is one).

Regarding the bolded text, is that specific to subscribers? Because as of right now, I dont see anything worth paying for.

Yes, stonehenge is sub only.

Subs get horadric cube, extra bank space, stonehenge and several items.
Supposedly 2 new classes for subs only will come eventually. Dont hold your breath though.

Meh. I beat Act 1 in 2 hours... I'm not thinking this game has the staying power that D2 had.

The story line had potential, but fell apart so rapidly you quickly stopped caring about it altogether. Which led to me beating it quickly and then forgetting it existed. It seemed like they stopped even trying by the end of the game. Nightmare difficulty was a joke too, do they really expect you to play through those boring landscapes and repetitive levels 2 or 3 times?
