First one was surprisingly entertaining, this one looks like it'll be another fun summer movie, although nothing will top The Dark Knight. 2008 looks like it could shape up to be another solid year for movies.

I know it! This year there were some gems, and a lot of very well made/thought out movies, but nothing beats a good old fashioned CGI slug fest. The first one was good, this looks a LOT better, they pulled back on the whole comic-book feel and made it a little bit darker, a little more sinister.

Also yes, The Dark Knight will own all. If it wins any Emmy's I expect Bale to swoop down to the stage in full costume from the rafters.

sweet, they're making a batman tv show with bale?! the budget for that must be astronomical!

I did say own ALL. I'm expecting a Dark Knight TV show, Dark Knight the Broadway musical, and Dark Knight cereal. They haven't had a new badass cereal that kicks your ass and contains 12 essential nutrients in a long time. Not since Mr. T's Mini-Mohawks.

Looks fun. The direct to DVD Hellboy animated feature was awful though.

There's a scroll at the bottom where you can select the Hellboy 2 trailer.

Amped, you have to wait for the stupid scrolling thing at the bottom to get to Hellboy, then click. Apparently at the time the featured trailer was for HB2, then it switched to Day of the Dead.

I was very disappointed in the first one. And I think whoever plays Hellboy really underacts. He sounds tired and moves sluggishly.

seeing as Del Toro also directed Pans Labrynth you can see similar styles in the way the monsters look

i think perlman makes a great hellboy i am looking forward to this movie.

perlman is always like that, i liked the first one, thought it was great for a movie based off a comic

the animated one they did was also decent

I like the first one. It was also the first time I saw a fist fight in a theater (from two grown guys)...lol

I wonder if HB2 will have free DVD samples (in good cases) in Bestbuy like they did with the first one.
