Thats kind of confusing, but the cache helps A LOT! There is a noticeable difference in speed.

haha. too bad that the data is wrong. mrakman, you should try to research up before you post something like that. do you know what cache you are talking about? when you said 2 ns, that is referring to cache on the processor, or L1 cache. that is pretty fast. it is used for stuff like fetching from memory. when they are talking about cache for hard drives they are using much slower memory. no way can they afford to use L1 cache. i mean, processors have less than 1 meg of L1 cache, and 512K of L1 cache is really big also (like barton processor). they are using regular memory (what we would call RAM) to cache for the hard disk.
cache is just a term. it doesn't refer to anything in particular. it doesn't mean DRAM, for example

Pretty good deal for $59.94, ok it is HOT. Ther rebate doesn't apply to the 2meg and for $10 it is well worth the 4x as much cache.
