I woke up this morning to find a new 1.8Ghz PowerMac G5 sitting in my room. I love suprise presents from parents, it just makes the day so much better. Just thought I'd share my excitement and joy. This completes my new computer collection, so no more Microsoft products, ever. What a wonderful day!

I would be glad to, except I've never worked on a G4 before, so I can't make a comparison. It's verrry snappy on the G5 though.

My parents have NEVER done anything that cool. The last cool thing one of my parents did was my mom picking up resident evil for gamecube at the mall and then picking me up at school so i could get home early and play (i usually take the train and get home an hour later than that day.) The last computer they bought me was a Gateway for graduation. That is definitely not a Mac.

Not really that spoiled. I'm paying for college and grad school myself right now, payed for my own car, and paying for my own apartment up at college. This is more of their "Yay, you finally found someone to marry" present. And yes, I thanked them profusely, took my dad golfing, got my mom some flowers, and am still thanking them as we speak. Now, I just have to find room for it back at college.
You cared enough to post in my thread.
Thanks for letting me know your opinion, I couldn't care less about it though.
