It's only 90 at the airport, which is where our official high is recorded. Whoever put the official Portland weather station right on the Columbia river was teh st00pid.

Don't move to the East. You can add about 75% to that on any day.
 
Ok well it's not as humid as it normally is but it's still too humid.

I'd rather have 100 deg F Arizona dry heat where the humidity is in the single digits.

You think you guys have it bad?

I spent the last two hours stuck on the second floor here. Power was out, it got up near 90°, no circulation, no lights, etc.

Of course our phones were running off battery backup, so we had to take calls.

Damn dude, I feel for you there.. What happened? Substation blow up from the heat?

The weather station closest to me now says 103F with 20% humidity.. winds WNW @ 4mph.

I dunno what happened, but it wasn't just us... Streetlights were out as far as we could see (with binoculars).

Power was out for over two hours.

Reminds me of when i used to do delieveries for the engineering firm i worked for. I had to wear a shirt and tie to represent the firm. My car's air was broken, and the window got stuck in the up position. High humidity and 90+ weather.

And yeah, I'd loved to go outside. Do you know how rarely it gets this hot here? This is like a once a year event. And to have it happen in June?? :Q
