Helicopter In BF 1942?

I head that there is a helicopter in this game but I can't find it. Anyone know which map it's in?
It may be a multi-player map as the person was complaining about how someone will just beat him to the chopper and then crash while trying to take off.

for all you players of desert combat, find a server that plays DC_Lost VIllage -- an awesome level that doesn't get played much.

That's why I want to try it.

 

The heli takes some getting used to - a joystick helps alot.

Be dedicated to learn, but for gods sake - learn on a server without anyone else playing.
I hate jumpin in a copter with someone only to die in a series of barrel rolls.
If you must play in a busy server, don't pick anyone one

Yeah, practice with the copter on a single player game. Don't waste other people's time.

I use a mouse and I kick a$$ in a heli. I can even hover with it.

Helis are in a mod for BF1942 called Desert Combat, they arent in the BF1942.

While we on the subject, can anyone tell me how you have your heli controls set-up with joystick? I can take off and hover but can't get the damn thing to fly.. Any suggestions?
