Diamond Seals the deal for Heidi
Heidi Klum is headed down the matrimonial runway again, we hear.
Grammy-nominated singer Seal proposed to the supermodel while on a holiday south of the border, spies tell us.
Word is Klum is sporting a honking canary diamond ring that the R&B crooner has given her. "It's a serious rock," one witness tell us.
Yesterday, Klum's rep would say only that "Heidi and Seal are on vacation and unavailable."
But the couple has made no secret of their devotion.
"I have the best partner on the planet you could have," Klum gushed on the "Today" show last month.
Klum, 31, and Seal, 41, started dating last year shortly after her breakup with Formula One racing boss Flavio Briatore, who is the father of her daughter, Leni.
Seal quickly filled the void left by the Italian modelizer, who is still said to have never visited his 8-month-old child.
"He's been a stand-up guy from day one," says a pal.
Indeed, the singer dedicates his new greatest-hits CD to "my daughter, Leni," as well as to Klum and her parents.
Klum and hairstylist Ric Pipino divorced in 2002 after five years of marriage.
Klum and Seal are said to have shared their big news at the fabled New Year's Eve party thrown by Alix Goldsmith Marcaccini, daughter of the late financier Sir James Goldsmith, at Mexico's luxe Cuixmala resort.
Among those raising a glass to the new was Seal's old flame, Tyra Banks, who was with current beau Giancarlo Marcaccini, brother of Alix's husband, Gofreddo.
Also on hand for the dawn-greeting beach bash were Quentin Tarantino and Sofia Coppola, Johnny Knoxville, Karolina Kurkova, Damon Dash and Rachel Roi, Simon and Yasmin Le Bon, and Richard Golub and Sarah Conca.
