LOL I'm an idiot. Works okay w/o the M3D button activated. Thanks for your help. Here WAS my problem..

I've got a Soundblaster Live! value card w/ some logitech z560s and i can't figure out how to get the rear speakers to play out of the rear channels. With my 'Creative Surround Mixer' when I test the channels my left speaker says "front left" my right speaker says "front right" and both my rear speakers say FRONT LEFT and FRONT RIGHT along with the front ones. I'm running Win 98 SE. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

did the multimedia setting already.. tried quad and surround, didn't seem to make a difference.. in creative mixer i have it set on 4 speakers. The rear speakers still play both channels and there seems to be no rear channel playing at all. anywhere else to change settings?

Start-Settings-Control Panel-Multimedia-Audio-Playback-Advanced Properties-select Quadraphonic or Surround Sound Speakers. One of the two should work.

Check your Creative Mixer speaker settings. I believe they override Windows settings.

DROP KICK to the top of the charts!!!!

btw I don't belong here... at least i didn't yesterday! lol
